Recaldent (CPP-ACP)

The active ingredient in MI Paste and MI Paste Plus is a compound called Recaldent (CPP-ACP). Recaldent is a milk protein derivative designed to bond to the surface of teeth allowing for increased mineral absorption. The increased uptake allows for the introduction of vital nutrients and fluoride helping to combat sensitivity and rebuild enamel.

Recaldent Science

Two of the vital chemicals to strong, healthy teeth are Calcium and Phosphate. In order to stimulate effective bonding, forms of Amorphous Calcium Phosphate (ACP) and Casein Phosphopeptide (CPP) adhere to dentinal tubules (pores). The encouraged uptake helps to rebuild enamel, stimulates saliva production, and remains effective for up to 3 hours.

Recaldent Is Effective

Recaldent has been proven effective for oral hygiene by balancing the oral environment and restoring viral nutrients. The regular application of the Recaldent found in MI Paste and MI Paste Plus can encourage remineralization, decrease oral sensitivity, and combat common dental ailments. Recaldent is effective for balancing oral pH, combating dry mouth, and treating decay from acids, diet, whitening, chronic illness, orthodontics, and various other conditions.

Recaldent is Safe

Recaldent was developed in the late 1980's and since has been included in over 140 studies to verify efficacy and safety. The results speak for themselves. Recaldent is safe for all age groups and even the medically compromised. However, as Recaldent is a milk protein derivative, those with a milk protein allergy are advised against use.
